This series addresses experiences, decisions, and issues that teachers of psychology face later in their careers. We construe “Late Career” broadly to include a range of issues that teachers of psychology might encounter once we are past what each of us individually thinks of as mid-career. It does not mean (only) retirement or end-of-career, although those kinds of topics are included. Host Dave Kreiner talks with guests about how they have navigated issues such as planning when or whether to retire, staying active in teaching after retirement, changes in responsibilities after mid-career, finding ways to have a lasting impact, coping with health issues, and things we never thought we would be asking ourselves.
